Research being done by students at Coastal Carolina University has been hampered by the pandemic. Yet research is a key part of the experience for many at CCU, and when students are back on campus, research opportunities will once again be available, even for undergraduates.

Just before the virus made its initial impact on CCU, a student and instructor conducted some research at the Baruch Institute for South Carolina Studies at Hobcaw Barony. That's an outdoor laboratory often used by Coastal students.
