The Pushing the Limits series returns this year with Steve Bailey and jazz/rock guitar virtuoso Mike Stern. One of the premier musical improvisers in modern jazz, Stern was a part of the seminal Miles Davis band and has been nominated for a Grammy five times.

CCU Artist-in-Residence Steve Bailey has been called the "Christopher Columbus of the six string fretless bass," and his innovative techniques have been utilized by a wide array of artists including Dizzy Gillespie, Jethro Tull, Willie Nelson and the Rippingtons. Put these two together performing jazz standards and originals, along with Aquarian Rescue Unit/Trey Anastasio drummer Jeff Sipe, and you have a night to remember.
