Have you wanted to learn about ways you can teach your students even when they are not in a face-to-face class meeting? In this session, we will discuss effective ways of utilizing the virtual classroom to increase the amount of instructional content being taught to students during a given semester. The concept of the flipped classroom will be discussed, and specific tools enabling you to create meaningful instructional content for importing into the learning management system, Moodle, will be demonstrated and discussed.

Participants will:
· Understand the concept of the flipped classroom and how it can be used to maximize the impact of face-to-face instructional time.
· Use available platforms such as Office365, Echo360 Personal Capture, and Skype for Business to help create instructional content that can be deployed online.
· Use specific tools in Moodle for delivering instructional content outside of scheduled class meetings.
