Guest Artist Recital with Flutist Amy Likar Bookmark and Share

Flutist Amy Likar presents a recital of contemporary works for flute and piccolo, including the world premiere of Move, Pause---> by CCU composer and professor in the Department of Music Donald Sloan. Likar is a licensed Andover
Educator and a San Francisco Bay-based performing and teaching artist. Equally at home in an orchestra, as a chamber musician or as a soloist, Likar is also a passionate teacher and a committed member of the Oakland Symphony. Likar will be accompanied by pianist Renée Jackson. Jackson is an active pianist and teacher, performing both solo and collaborative recitals throughout the eastern United States. She is a graduate of Oberlin Conservatory and the University of Michigan and maintains an independent studio in Myrtle Beach, where she teaches piano.
