Save the date: Customer Service Week 2019

Teal Nation is community of individuals who care about creating intentional connections. Over the past five years, we have celebrated this culture and recognized individual and departmental accomplishments in a variety of methods. One of these has become a tradition for CCU: International Customer Service Week.

Even though customer service week is every week at Coastal Carolina University, International Customer Service Week in 2019 occurs Oct. 7-11. This will be the fifth year we are participating in this international celebration of the importance of customer service and of the people who serve and support customers on a daily basis. Unlike many companies, we do not have a customer service department, and intentionally so. Service is not a department; it is up to each of us to provide it, not one department.

If you’re curious as to the ways we have celebrated in the past, I invite you to watch this quick Coastal Now clip from the 2018 week.

It is my hope that this year’s week will allow us to recognize more outstanding employees and celebrate service excellence in new and unique ways.
