"Reporter" is an exploration of two desperate crises -- the current state of American journalism as reflected through the work of Nicholas Kristof, one of its best (and last?) reporters, and the urgent crisis in the Congo, news of which can only reach the public if journalists like Kristof continue to do what they do best. A meet-and-greet with the filmmaker will follow the program.
The 2010-2011 Southern Circuit Tour of Independent Filmmakers is a program of South Arts. This screening is supported in part by an award from the National Endowment for the Arts.
