Java Jabber: Ethics of Flipping Off the Buddha on 501 Bookmark and Share

Mar 29

4:30 p.m. @ CINO Grille

The Buddha discouraged his followers from speculating about the existence of God or a human soul. He also cautioned against appeals to authority, saying that one shouldn’t believe anything others say without empirical examination. Ronald Green, assistant professor of philosophy and religious studies at Coastal Carolina University, will discuss the Buddha’s ethical theory as it is being applied around the world today.
