  • CCU receives SACS accreditation

    Coastal Carolina University has received reaffirmation of accreditation by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS), the accrediting agency for colleges and universities in 11 Southeastern states. The reaccreditation is valid through 2022.

  • Mann selected as 2012 Legend of the PGA

    William Mann, director of player development for the PGA Golf Management (PGM) Program in the E. Craig Wall Sr. College of Business Administration at Coastal Carolina University, has been selected as the 2012 Legend of the PGA.

  • CCU professor, alumna edit Horry diaries

    A personal journal written by Peter Horry (1744-1815), the Revolutionary War militia leader for whom Horry County was named, was recently published by the University of South Carolina Press, edited by Coastal Carolina University history professor Roy Talbert Jr. and Meggan Farish, a CCU history alumna and Duke University doctoral candidate.

  • Wall College maintains AACSB Accreditation

    The E. Craig Wall Sr. College of Business Administration at Coastal Carolina University has maintained its accreditation by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International, the international accrediting association for undergraduate, master’s and doctoral degree programs in business schools.

  • CCU professor to receive conservation award

    Daniel C. Abel, assistant professor of marine science at Coastal Carolina University, has been selected to receive the 2012 Harry Hampton Woods & Waters Conservation Memorial Journalism Award from the South Carolina Wildlife Federation. The award will be presented at the annual awards banquet in Columbia on Feb. 1.
