The conference “Thinking about Poverty in Horry County” brings together faculty, staff, students and community members to reflect on the ways poverty affects families, schools and institutions in Horry County.

The conference will start with a keynote address by Daniel Hausman. On the second day of the conference, various presenters will explore ways in which poverty can be effectively addressed.
