The Food Service Catering Building will be the staging area for all catered events on campus along with a seating area for approximately 100 people inside and an outside patio area that can seat 24. Construction is projected to be finished by Nov. 20.

The baseball project includes construction of a new stadium that seats 2,500. There will be new restrooms, full service concessions, novelty sales area, press box/media workspace for radio and television broadcast, premium box/suite area and clubhouse/locker room.

Estimated substantial completion date for softball is May 7, and the estimated substantial completion date for the baseball improvements is July 30.

    Academic Office/Classroom Building #2
This project will include the design of a 52,000-square-foot facility adjacent to the Wall Building. The new facility will provide approximately 100 faculty and administration staff offices, ITS office and space, and 15 to 18 classrooms ranging from 25 to 40 seats in size. Architectural selection is taking place at present.

The first Annex, estimated at 41,000 square feet, will include a movie theatre, a new game room, a C-Store and office and meeting spaces for student groups. The project includes the design of 1,270-bed student housing for first-year students in a multiphase project on the campus. The residence halls will be traditional yet modern and should have double-loaded corridors with junior suites/semi-suites, providing double-occupancy bedrooms and a minimum of one bathroom with a separate vanity and lockable water closet per semi-suite. Community spaces should be on each floor with a ratio of two large community spaces – one quiet student room and one living room space – per 35 residences. Residence halls will include full wireless and wired internet connectivity, access control and security systems including mechanical and electrical locks, security camera and fire safety equipment, high efficiency laundry machines, custodial and maintenance storage and working space, apartments for professional live-in staff as well as professional offices, reception and meeting space. Classroom and/or meeting spaces as well as recreational space/facilities should be included in the complex.
