African-American Music through the Years

Friday, March 31, 6 p.m.

CCU students come together to celebrate the history and music of African-Americans through a musical timeline, directed by Franklin Ellis, CCU assistant director for Multicultural Student Services. The program includes
two numbers per decade spanning the 1930s through today including dance, vocal and musical performances. Performers include CCU students Jasmine Cable, Alaetra Corley and Kenneth Jackson on vocals; Alexander Fergusen on saxophone; and the Teal Temptation dance club.
