CINO TIE REQUIRED PROGRAMMING
During CINO TIE, all incoming freshmen are required to attend the following sessions on Monday, Aug. 19 and Tuesday, Aug. 20. If you have already fulfilled your FYE requirement, you have assigned programming by last name which can also be found on the Required Programming by FYE Section website.

NOTE: If you are a transfer student under the age of 22, you are required to attend one of the Chant Life Step UP Against Violence Performance and Discussion/Debrief Sessions. See the description and time options below.
REQUIRED SESSION DESCRIPTIONS
Not only are you a part of the University and your academic college, you are also a member of your academic major’s department. In this session, you will learn more about your major from your academic department chair.
Chant Life Campus Essentials
This interactive presentation will provide valuable information about navigating college life outside of the classroom as well as key resources available in the CCU community.
Chant Life Online
As you prepare to begin classes, it is critical that you know how to access and use all of CCU’s online resources. In this session, an O-Teamer will walk you through the essentials.
Chant Life Step UP Against Violence
This session features a performance by fellow students that is designed to depict various aspects of healthy and unhealthy relationships one may encounter while in college and after. *Some content in the Step UP Against Violence performance can be triggering for students who have been affected by sexual or interpersonal violence. NOTE: If you are concerned about being triggered by the content of the performance, please attend the alternative session that is at the same time as the performance in Wheelwright 202.
The performances are scheduled at 8:30 a.m., 11 a.m., and 1 p.m. on Monday, August 19 and Tuesday, August 20 in Wheelwright Auditorium.
Chant Life Discussion and Debrief
This discussion takes place in small groups immediately following the Step UP Against Violence performance. In this small group session, students will have the opportunity to reflect on healthy relationships, communication, and resources available to them in the CCU community.
New Student Convocation
Attend your first academic ceremony with the University president, chairman of the board, provost, deans, vice presidents and faculty in regalia (academic robes). Please dress up for the occasion. Doors close at 3:45 p.m.
