Events for Saturday, Aug. 19
|10 a.m. to 4 p.m.||Beach Bash
Crown Reef Resort, Myrtle Beach
Grab a beach towel, sunscreen and a few friends, and enjoy an afternoon at the beach. Transportation will be provided. Lunch is free for the first 125 students who arrive at the shuttle stop. Shuttles will run to the beach from the Student Union shuttle stop starting at 10 a.m.; the last shuttle will leave campus at 2:30 p.m. and return to campus at 4 p.m.
|11 a.m.||Pool and Madden Tournament

If playing pool or video games are of interest to you, enter the CINO TIE Tourney and meet other students who share the same interest. Show up at the Game Room at 11 a.m. to enter and get your name on either bracket. The pool tournament will be played in teams of two.
|11 a.m. to 1 p.m.||Paint it Up

Feeling artsy? Head upstairs in the Student Union to create your masterpiece. Paint, brushes and canvases will be provided.
|noon to midnight||HTC Center Fitness Floor Open 12pm - 10pm
Take a break from unpacking and head over to the HTC Center to work up a sweat in our fitness facility.
|2 p.m.||Mountain Bike Ride
HTC Outdoor Center
Join University Recreation for a mountain bike ride. Meet at the Outdoor Center and ride through the trails of the Waccamaw Wildlife Refuge. With three tracks to choose from, this is a great ride for beginners or experienced riders interested in the local trails. Fifteen spots available on a first-come, first-served basis.
|4 p.m.||Intramural and Club Sport Interest Session
Come out to see what Intramural Sports and Club Sports has in store for 2017-18. Learn about how to register for and play intramural sports, get information on more than 20 club sports, and learn about our progrm's activities and policies. There will be giveaways and chances to win CCU prizes.
||Faith-based Organizations Interest Session
This session is designed to acquaint you with the variety of faith-based organizations that the campus has to offer. Come get to know members of these organizations as well as other students with a similar faith.
|5 p.m.||CAB/SGA/Chant Nation/RHA Interest Session
Learn about the services and programs offered by some of CCU's largest governing and/or programming student organizations. Hear from students representing the Coastal Activities Board (CAB), Student Government Association (SGA), ChantNation and RHA (Residence Hall Association).
|5 p.m.||The COAST Interest Session
Come learn about the Counseling Outreach Advocacy Student Team (COAST). This group of students offers a variety of programs and services that may be of interest to you.
|6 to 9 p.m.||Tradition Lawn Party
Come take part in a variety of activities highlighted by a carnival-style atmosphere. Enjoy games, novelties, inflatables and a water slide. Refreshments will be provided. Come have fun and meet new people. Make sure to bring your CINO card (student ID).
|6:30 to 7:30 p.m.||Ties that Bind
The Coastal Theater
This program is designed to introduce minority freshman to minority upperclassmen and staff at the University. If you signed up for the mentoring program during the summer Orientation or mailed your form in the office, you must attend. Those who did not sign up previously are strongly encouraged to attend.
|9 p.m.||Movie Night at the Union

After a long busy day, come relax at the Lib Jackson Student Union and watch Guardians of the Galaxy 2 in our very own movie theater. Tickets are only $2 and free popcorn is included in the cost of admission.
This is not your typical bingo. This is a fast-paced with music, dance contests, and more prizes than you’ll know what to do with. Come join Coastal Activities Board for a fun-filled night.
