The National Panhellenic Conference was founded in 1902 as an organization
to bring together women from 26 sororities in the United States and Canada.

The Panhellenic Creed

We, as Undergraduate Members of women's fraternities, stand for good scholarship, for guarding of good health, for maintenance of fine standards, and for serving, to the best of our ability, our college community. Cooperation for furthering fraternity life, in harmony with its best possibilities, is the ideal that shall guide our fraternity activities.

We, as Fraternity Women, stand for service through the development of character inspired by the close contact and deep friendship of individual fraternity and Panhellenic life. The opportunity for wide and wise human service, through mutual respect and helpfulness, is the tenet by which we strive to live.

Welcome from the Panhellenic President

Hello ladies & welcome to the Panhellenic Association at Coastal Carolina University! We are proud that you have shown interest and taken the time to explore what Panhellenic life is like on our campus. We currently have over 400 active women in our 5 sororities on campus and with the help of your interest; we are looking to keep expanding our community.

As the Panhellenic Council, we as undergraduate women abide by the four pillars that make up our sisterhood and association. Those pillars are Scholarship, Leadership, Community, and Service. No matter where you find your home, each chapter will help enrich your college career with these four pillars. Throughout campus, many council members hold prominent positions, excel scholastically, and serve to the University and the Conway Community.

On our campus of over 9,000 students, joining one of our Greek organizations is a great way to get active and involved. Whether you're looking to find life-long friendships, networking opportunities for your future, leadership opportunities or help scholastically, it can be provided through our 5 Panhellenic Chapters here. Our Panhellenic community holds formal Recruitment once a year in the beginning of the fall. This year Recruitment will fall on the second week of school (August 26th- September 1st). To register for Panhellenic Sorority Formal Recruitment (August 27-September 1), please CLICK HERE!!

On our webpage you will find more information about our Panhellenic Council and Executive Board along with all 5 Chapters' information and how to join our Panhellenic community. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me (akwhittl@g.coastal.edu) or any of the members on our Panhellenic Executive Board! I look forward to meeting you and we are looking forward to an exciting and monumental year!
