Mountain Bike Rides Weekly (TBD)
Join us at the HTC Outdoor Center for Weekly Mountain Bike Rides. Lead by our Trip Leaders, participants will ride 7-8 miles including single and double track trails of the Waccamaw Wildlife Refuge. No registration necessary. Bring your own bike or rent from us at no charge. 

S’Mores with Outdoors, Wednesday, January 23rd, 6-8pm
Come hang out with CCU Outdoor Center staff while we roast up some s'mores around a fire pit. Free. Tradition Hall.

Climb for the Cure, Wednesday, February 13th, 4-9pm
Join us at the HTC Student Rec Center Climbing Wall for competitions, games, prizes and snacks to raise awareness for Heart Health Month. New climbers welcome! All equipment provided. No registration necessary. Free.

Stand Up Paddleboard Workshop, Saturday, February 16th, 10am
90 minute Paddleboard Workshop on the Waccamaw River in Downtown Conway. Great for beginners, the Waccamaw River is an easy place to learn how to use a Stand-up Paddleboard in flat, calm waters. Please note participants must provide their own transportation to the river. $10.

Full Moon Kayak Trip, February 19th, 6-8pm
Paddle with us on our 2–Hour Waccamaw River Tour through the peaceful and wild swamps of the low country in Downtown Conway as we enjoy the Full Moon. Please note participants must provide their own transportation to the river. $10.

Poinsett State Park, Friday, February 22nd-24th
Come outside and play at Poinsett State Park as we camp and mountain bike through rolling hills in the Wedgefield, SC area. Poinsett State Park boasts over 20 miles of connected mountain bike trails from beginner to advanced. Price includes group camping site, transportation and free mountain bike rental from the Outdoor Center. Food will be up to the individual. $35

Carolina Beach State Park Camping & Hiking Trip, March 1st -2nd
Ever dreamed of camping at the beach? Join us on a two day camping & hiking trip in the Wilmington, NC area. The surrounding area boasts access to the Cape Fear River, fishing, hiking and beautiful scenery. Transportation will leave campus at 3pm on Friday, and return around noon on Sunday. Price includes camping site and transportation. Food will be up to the individual. $35

Rock the Wall, Tuesday, March 5th, 2019 4-9pm
Join us at the HTC Student Rec Center Climbing Wall for competitions, games, prizes and snacks. New climbers welcome! All equipment provided. No registration necessary. Free.

Full Moon Kayak Trip, March 21st, 2019

Murrells Inlet Marshwalk Kayak Tour, Saturday March 30th @ 10am-2pm
We invite you to enjoy a scenic paddle through the Murrells Inlet tidal marsh and enjoy the vast wildlife of Murrells Inlet! Pack your lunch and eat along the way. We will bring your kayak and gear to the launch and you must bring yourself. $20 per person. 

US National Whitewater Center, Saturday, April 6th
Join us for an all-day trip to the US National Whitewater Center on Saturday, September 9th! Participants will get a day pass that allows you to participate in any and all activities: whitewater rafting and kayaking, flatwater kayaking, mountain biking, rock climbing, zip lines and ropes courses. The activities you do are up to you! Transportation provided. $60

Just Send It, Wednesday, April 10th, 4-9pm
Join us at the HTC Student Rec Center Climbing Wall for competitions, games, prizes and snacks. New climbers welcome! All equipment provided. No registration necessary. Free.

Grandfather Mtn Backpacking, Camping, Hiking & Linville Caverns, April 12-14th
Join us on a three day backpacking, camping and hiking trip in the North Carolina Mountains. We will be camping at the Daniel Boone Group Camp Site and will hike the scenic Daniel Boone Scout Trail up to Calloway Peak, the summit of Grandfather Mtn. at 5,946 Ft! We will then camp on the mountain and visit the mile-high swing bridge and the Linville Caverns! This is an advanced hiking trip and participants must be able to hike an average of 8+ miles daily of steep inclines across rugged peaks.

The bus will leave campus at 8am on Friday, and return around 8pm on Sunday. A mandatory pre-trip meeting will be required of all participants. Space is limited. Price includes transportation, group camping site, and admittance to Linville Caverns. Food will be up to the individual. $60
