Mountain Bike Rides Weekly (TBD)
Join us at the HTC Outdoor Center for Weekly Mountain Bike Rides. Lead by our Trip Leaders, participants will ride 7-8 miles including single and double track trails of the Waccamaw Wildlife Refuge. No registration necessary. Bring your own bike or rent from us at no charge. 

Late Night @ The Rec Thursday, August 23rd 4-11pm
Kick off the year right by joining URec for a table tennis tournament, rock climbing events, games and prizes. Free.

S’Mores with Outdoors Thursday, August 30th 6-8pm
Come hang out with CCU Outdoors while we roast up some s'mores. Free.  

Stand Up Paddleboard Workshop Saturday, September 8th @ 10am
1.5-Hour Paddleboard Workshop on the Waccamaw River. Great for beginners, the Waccamaw River is an easy place to learn how to use a Stand-up Paddleboard in flat, calm waters. Please note participants must provide their own transportation to the river.

Climbfest Wednesday, September 12th @ 4-9pm
Join us at the HTC Student Rec Center Climbing Wall for competitions, games, prizes and snacks! New climbers welcome! All equipment provided. No registration necessary. Free.

U.S. National Whitewater Center, Saturday, September 15th (all day)
Join us for a trip to the US National Whitewater Center on Saturday, September 15th! Participants will get a day pass that allows you to participate in any and all activities: whitewater rafting and kayaking, flatwater kayaking, mountain biking, rock climbing, zip lines and ropes courses. The activities you do are up to you! Transportation provided.

Harvest Moon Kayak Trip, Monday, September 24th 6-8pm
Paddle with us on our 2–Hour Waccamaw River Tour through the peaceful and wild swamps of the low country in Downtown Conway as we enjoy the Harvest moon. Please note participants must provide their own transportation to the river.

Stand Up Paddleboard Trip, Saturday, October 6th 10am-12pm
2-Hour Paddleboard Trip on the Waccamaw River. Great for beginners, the Waccamaw River is an easy place to learn how to use a Stand-up Paddleboard in flat, calm waters. Please note participants must provide their own transportation to the river.

Ride & Climb for a Cure, Tuesday, October 9th 4-9pm
Join with URec as we ride and climb for a cure! Spinning classes and rock climbing will include special games and prizes. T-Shirts available for purchase and donations will be accepted. All funds raised will be donated to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.

Waites Island Kayak Adventure Sunday, October 14th 10am-2pm
Paddle with us on a 4 hour Waites Island kayak tour through a beautiful marsh to the untouched beaches of Waites Island, an island only accessible by boat. Pack your own lunch and eat on the island. Transportation provided. Space is limited.

Hunters Moon Kayak Trip, Wednesday, October 24th 6-8pm
Paddle with us on our 2–Hour Waccamaw River Tour through the peaceful and wild swamps of the low country in Downtown Conway as we enjoy the Hunters moon. Please note participants must provide their own transportation to the river.

Pisgah National Forest Camp, Hike & Bike, October 26-28th
Join us on a two day camping, hiking and mountain biking trip in the North Carolina Mountains (Brevard, NC area). Price includes group camping site, food and transportation.

We will be camping at a group campsite in the Brevard area. The surrounding national forest boasts mile-high peaks, cascading waterfalls and slopes thickly forested with hardwoods. The bus will leave campus at noon on Friday, and return around 5pm on Sunday.

Ride & Dine, Thursday, November 8th 6-8pm
Join with CCU Outdoors as we bike to Downtown Conway from Campus and eat at Bonfire A Smokin' Taqueria. Participants assume cost of food. Advanced registration required.

Myrtle Beach State Park, Friday, November 9-11th
Come and enjoy a local camping adventure along the far-reaching stretch of the Grand Strand coastline. Myrtle Beach State Park sits nestled among oceanfront maritime forest and is a quiet, and surprisingly green, escape from the otherwise bustling beach. Enjoy hiking, fishing and educational opportunities. Or just sit and enjoy the views.
