Time: | 1011 | Officer: | Garland | Type: | Assist another agency - possession of controlled substance, possession of paraphernalia, trespass | Location: | 1403 West Cox Ferry Road | Description: | A CCU DPS officer responded to West Cox Ferry Road in reference to request from Federal Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) employees to interview a suspicious subject. The FWS Law enforcement officer was not available at the time of the request. The officer located the subject vehicle and attempted to interview the driver who fled from the officer. The subject vehicle was originally observed parked at the Wildlife refuge and was driven from there to a residence nearby where the driver exited the vehicle. Additional officers arrived to assist in locating the subject. The subject was taken into custody, the vehicle was inventoried and the subject was transported to the Horry County Detention Center. The subject was issued citations and warrants will be sought for further charges. |
