Time: | 0903 | Officer: | Kessler | Type: | Traffic stop - DUS, failure to surrender suspended tag | Location: | Hwy. 544 and Founders Drive | Description: | While on patrol a CCU DPS officer observed the subject vehicle being operated with what appeared to be a suspend tag and stopped the vehicle to investigate. The driver was interviewed and the officer was able to determine that the tag was suspended. The vehicle's owner was contacted and the owner came to the scene. The owner was interviewed and the officer determined that the owner's driver's license and the tag on the second vehicle were also suspended. The first driver was issued a warning and transported to their residence. The owner was issued citations and transported to the Horry County Detention Center. Both vehicles were towed and the plates were seized to be returned to the DMV. |
