The officer interviewed the driver at the scene who reported the second driver had given them contact information and then left the scene. The driver requested assistance in locating the second driver. The vehicle was located a short time later nearby by another CCU DPS officer. The second driver was located and admitted to having been drinking. the second driver gave a false story to the officer but later admitted to the truth. Warrants will be sought in this incident. |
