The driver was interviewed and during the interview the officer was able to observe the odor of marijuana. The driver consented to a search of the vehicle. The driver exited the vehicle and attempted to flee from the scene. The driver was apprehended and during a search of the vehicle marijuana, cocaine, and a firearm were discovered. The driver was issued citations and transported to the Horry County Detention Center. Additional warrants will be sought in this incident. |
