Time: | 1504 | Officer: | Kessler | Type: | Traffic stop - possession of paraphernalia, DUS, felon in possession of ammunition | Location: | Hwy. 544 and Founders Drive | Description: | While on patrol a CCU DPS officer observed the subject vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed (confirmed by RADAR) and stopped the vehicle to investigate. The driver was interviewed and admitted to having a suspended license. A records check confirmed the suspension and revealed an active warrant. The subject was taken into custody and the passenger was removed from the vehicle. During a search of the vehicle paraphernalia and ammunition were discovered. Both subjects were issued citations and transported to the Horry County Detention Center. The vehicle was towed.
Warrants were later obtained and served on both subjects. |
