The officer interviewed the victim who described the missing purse, its contents, and the circumstances of the incident. A video review of the area revealed two subjects. A description was transmitted to all CCU DPS officers to attempt to locate the subjects. The victim's driver's license was discovered near Chauncey's choice. The subjects were observed entering a vehicle near the library and stopped to investigate. A third subject fled into the Singleton Bldg. and was found inside a short time later. The vehicle was searched and stolen property, paraphernalia, and marijuana were discovered. The evidence and contraband were seized. The vehicle was towed. All three subjects were taken into custody and transported to the Horry County Detention Center with a hold for further charges. |
