The officer observed a vehicle in the area being driven in an unsafe manner and stopped the vehicle to investigate. The driver was interviewed and appeared to have been drinking. The officer requested the driver attempt SFSTs. The driver was not able to successfully complete the SFSTs. The subject was taken into custody and transported to a breath testing facility. The breath sample confirmed the subject was over the legal limit. The subject was issued a citation and transported to the Horry County Detention Center. The vehicle was towed. |
