The driver was interviewed and admitted to the officer they were driving on a suspended license and had no insurance on the vehicle. A records check confirmed that the license plate was suspended. The driver also advised the officer that they were in possession of contraband. During a search of the vehicle marijuana and paraphernalia were discovered. The contraband was seized. The driver was issued citations, taken into custody, and transported to the Horry County Detention Center. Warrants will be sought for further charges.
