The driver and passengers were interviewed. One passenger attempted to give the officer false identification information. During a consent search marijuana and a firearm were discovered. The passenger who gave false information admitted to possessing the firearm and a records check showed they were prohibited from possessing a firearm. This subject was transported to the Horry County Detention Center with a hold for further warrants. The driver was issued citations and released. The contraband was seized. Warrants were sought, obtained and served on the subject. |
