During the interview of the driver the officer observed open containers of alcohol in the vehicle. The driver was requested to attempt SFSTs. The driver was not able to successfully complete the SFSTs and admitted to having been drinking and to being underage. The driver was taken into custody and transported to a breath testing facility. During a search a fake ID was discovered. The breath test confirmed the driver was over the legal limit. The driver was issued citations and transported to the Horry County Detention Center. The vehicle was towed. |
