The officer was able to observe that vehicle had struck a sign and another parked vehicle. The officer located the subject and was able to awaken them. The driver was interviewed and the officer observed signs of intoxication. The officer asked the subject to attempt SFSTs. The subject was not able to successfully complete the SFSTs. The subject was taken into custody and transported to a breath testing facility. During a search of the vehicle alcohol was discovered. The vehicle was towed. A collision report was completed. The subject provided a breath sample which confirmed they were over the legal limit. The subject was issued a citation and transported to the Horry County Detention Center. |
