Time: | 0615 | Officer: | Moran | Type: | Driving Under the Influence | Location: | Township Circle | Description: | While on patrol a CCU DPS officer responded to Township Circle in reference to a vehicle that had struck another vehicle and the driver was still in the vehicle. Upon arrival the officer made contact with the subject. The driver was interviewed and during the interview the officer observed signs of alcohol use in the driver. The subject attempted the SFSTs and was not able to successfully complete them. The subject was then transported to a breath testing facility. The subject was issued a citation and transported to the Horry County Detention Center.
