The officer located the subject that had dropped the item and met with them. The subject consented to a search of their room and admitted to possessing the baggie. In plain view suspected marijuana was located. The subject was taken into custody, transported to the Horry County Detention Center. A warrant will be obtained. The narcotics were seized and placed into evidence. This incident is being referred to the Dean of Students Office for review. |
