While in the subject’s room, the reporting officer noticed loose tobacco on top of the dresser in plain view. Mixed in with the tobacco was some green leafy substance believed to be marijuana. The subject gave the officer permission to take a sample of the tobacco and the green leafy substance for testing. The green leafy substance tested positive for marijuana. The subject was cited for simple possession and released. |
