With the burglaries that had just taken place that day, he became suspicious of the subjects. When he approached the subjects he noticed the odor of alcoholic beverage on their person. The reporting officer was able to contact the father of one of the subjects to come and get his vehicle. When the father arrived, he gave the reporting officer permission to search the vehicle and, during the search, the officer found a green leafy substance hidden in the vehicle. The subject was cited for possession of marijuana. |
