Time: | 0309 | Officer: | Llewellyn | Type: | Traffic stop - simple possession, possession of cocaine, open container | Location: | Hwy. 501 and University Blvd. | Description: | While on patrol a CCU DPS officer observed a vehicle being driven in an unsafe manner and stopped the vehicle. The driver and passenger were interviewed. While interviewing the occupants open containers of alcohol were observed in the vehicle and marijuana was discovered. The two subjects were issued citations and transported to the Horry County Detention Center. During a search at the HCDC cocaine was found in the possession of one of the subjects. A warrant will be sought for the cocaine charge. The vehicle was towed. |
