Time: | 0342 | Officer: | Llewellyn | Type: | DUI | Location: | Century Circle | Description: | While on patrol a CCU DPS officer observed a vehicle being driven in an unsafe manner and stopped the vehicle. The driver was interviewed and asked to attempt SFSTs. The driver was not able to successfully complete the SFSTs. During the interview an open containers of alcohol were found in the vehicle. The passenger was interviewed and found to be in possession of alcohol. The driver was taken into custody and transported to a breath testing facility. The breath sample confirmed that the driver was over the legal limit. Both subjects were issued citations and transported to the Horry County Detention Center. The vehicle was towed. |
