Time: | 1300 | Officer: | Valenti | Type: | Failure to stop for blue lights, disobeying a police officer, open container in a vehicle | Location: | Chanticleer Drive East | Description: | While on patrol a CCU DPS officer observed a vehicle whose passengers were making excessive noise and attempted to stop the vehicle. The driver fled the scene and was pursued by several CCU DPS officers. During the pursuit the driver actively attempted to evade being stopped. When the vehicle stopped the occupants fled. Two subjects were detained at the scene, the third surrendered at the CCU DPS office a short time later. One subject at the scene was issued a citation and released. The driver was taken into custody and transported to the Horry County Detention Center. |
