The officer then observed the subject walking unsteadily and hitting a curb. The officer stopped the vehicle to investigate. The driver was interviewed and admitted to having smoked marijuana earlier in the day. During a search marijuana was discovered on the driver. The officer requested that the driver attempt SFSTs. The driver was not able to successfully complete the SFSTs. The driver was taken into custody and transported to a breath testing facility. the driver refused to submit a breath sample. The driver was issued citations and transported to the Horry County Detention Center. The vehicle was towed. |
