The complainant was interviewed and identified the suspicious package. The package was emitting an odor of marijuana. The package was secured at the post office for further investigation. A search warrant was sought and obtained for the package and its contents. The contents were identified as contraband and the package was resealed. On 08/18/15 the addressee was notified of the package and they retrieved the package from the post office. The addressee was located and taken into custody a short time later. The addressee was interviewed and admitted to possessing the contraband. The addressee was transported to the Horry County Detention Center. Entry of this incident was delayed to allow for the proper investigation of the incident. |
