Time: | 2346 | Officer: | Kessler | Type: | Traffic stop - possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance, DUS | Location: | Singleton Ridge Road and Professional Park Drive | Description: | While on patrol a CCU DPS officer observed the subject vehicle parked in the roadway at an intersection and stopped to investigate. The officer interviewed the driver who told the officer they were driving on a suspended license. The driver consented to a search of the vehicle and the occupants were asked to exit. During the search an unlabeled pill bottle containing a substance believed to be crack cocaine was discovered. The contraband was seized. The driver and a passenger were taken into custody, issued citations and transported to the Horry County Detention Center. Warrants will be sought for further charges. |
