The officers met with University Housing staff already at the scene. Officers interviewed the University Housing staff who found paraphernalia while conducting a Health and Safety inspection. The resident of the bedroom was located and escorted back to their apartment. The subject was interviewed and admitted to possessing cocaine. During a search other controlled substances and alcohol were discovered. The subject was taken into custody issued citations and transported to the Horry County Detention Center. Warrants will be sought for the other charges. The contraband was seized.
