While checking the jacket for any identifying information the officer discovered marijuana in a pocket. The owner of the jacket approached the officer and identified the jacket as theirs. The owner was interviewed and admitted to smoking marijuana and possessing the marijuana found in the jacket. The contraband was seized and the owner was issued a citation before being released. |
