The officer was able to observe the vehicle. the officer was approached by the subject who identified themselves as the driver. The subject was interviewed and consented to a search of the vehicle. The subject attempted to flee and was restrained. The subject attempted to retrieve a firearm from their pocket but was stopped by the officer. The subject was taken into custody and the vehicle was searched. HCPD was requested and responded. Stolen property, paraphernalia and controlled substances were discovered during the search. The subject was transported to the Horry County Detention Center and warrants will be sought in this incident. Warrants were obtained and served. A search warrant was served at the subject's home and more paraphernalia and controlled substances were discovered. The vehicle was towed. |
