Undergraduate Programs in Education and Social Sciences
The Spadoni College of Education and Social Sciences faculty facilitate undergraduate pre-service teaching programs in the areas of early childhood education, elementary education, middle level education, special education, and physical education. Each of these programs prepares candidates for initial South Carolina licensure.
For those students who are interested in teaching math, science, English, and social studies at the secondary level (9-12), the Spadoni College of Education and Social Sciences offers the Master of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.) degree program. This is a graduate level program that provides an avenue of entry into the teaching profession through graduate study. Like the undergraduate programs, the Master of Arts in Teaching program prepares candidates for initial South Carolina licensure.
