COVID-19 Vaccinations

The University strongly encourages everyone to get vaccinated to protect themselves and the community. Student Health Services is an approved COVID-19 provider and has the capability to store, manage, and administer the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine for free to our students, faculty, and staff. The Moderna COVID-19 vaccine is a two-dose vaccine, requiring a second dose 28 days after the first dose. For additional information about the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine and to schedule a vaccine appointment, call SHS at 843-349-6543.

Conway Medical Center (CMC) offers the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine every Thursday in the Lib Jackson Student Union Commuter Lounge (Room A107) from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Simply walk in and get a vaccine. Appointments cannot be made. Individuals attending this clinic are asked to complete the CMC COVID-19 vaccination form and bring it with them. The two-dose Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine is available to individuals who have never been vaccinated for COVID-19. The Pfizer booster shot will also be available. To determine your eligibility for the Pfizer booster, please review the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention COVID-19 Vaccine Booster Shot webpage.

COVID-19 vaccines are free and widely available to the public. Students, faculty, and staff can find an off-campus local COVID-19 vaccine provider on SCDHEC’s Vaccine Locator website.
