Upon receiving her bachelor’s degree in business administration from CCU, Hubbard will intern this summer with Ernst & Young in New York City, New York.

Shelby L. Hubbard is an accounting major from Burlington, Vermont. She served as president of Beta Alpha Psi chapter at Coastal Carolina University, the vice president of finance for Beta Gamma Sigma, the chief of staff for the Student Government Association and the student site coordinator for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program. Hubbard was a 2015 Who’s Who Among Students recipient. Her scholarships include the Dean’s Excellence Scholarship, Ray L. Miller Scholarship, Women in Philanthropy and Leadership for Coastal Carolina University Annual Scholarship, Wayland H. Cato Jr. and Theresa Roberts Gebhardt Endowed Scholarship, Fred W. Hicks III Scholarship in Finance, J. Ralph and Ami S. Byington Annual Scholarship and the Grand Strand Surfrider Foundation Volunteer Scholarship. Upon receiving her bachelor’s degree in business administration from CCU, she will intern this summer with Ernst & Young in New York City, New York. She will return to CCU this fall to earn a Master of Accountancy.
