The Interfraternity Council at Coastal Carolina University is the governing organization for seven fraternity Chapters. Mostly social in nature, these student organizations are local chapters of national organizations. Historically, IFC is designed to serve as a means of student engagement with university communities outside of the classroom. Collectively and individually, these organizations plan a range of events to encourage both social and civic engagement throughout the campus and Grandstrand Communities.
The Coastal Carolina University IFC seeks to positively impact the lives of undergraduate men and create a legacy of higher standards.
It is the mission of the IFC to educate, support, and govern its member chapters, and provide resources on scholarship, recruitment, accountability, and policy. Through these efforts of the IFC community, undergraduate men will be better prepared for life after college.
The IFC community will accomplish its mission through the values of academic excellence, service to others, fellowship, and organizational development.
