Designed to prepare future actors for the professional theater, this demanding degree focuses on helping you develop the skills and professionalism required for a successful career. What You’ll Study

The program focuses on self-exploration, characterization and discovery of personal working methods. You’ll be expected to exhibit not only technical and artistic competence, but also a broad knowledge of the theater, sensitivity to artistic style and an insight to the role of theater in the life of a humanistic society.

B.F.A. performance students are required to participate in production as determined by faculty. All students are evaluated annually and must meet professional standards to earn the B.F.A.
