The program offers structured, intensive, studio-based training in genres including musical comedy, musical drama, “Broadway opera,” cabaret, revue and new and alternative forms of musical theater. The goal of the program is to cultivate working artists with practical knowledge and competence that includes sensitivity to technique, artistry and style as well as insight into the larger role of theater arts.
