Title IX
- Title IX applies to:
- incidents that occur on campus or within the University’s education program(s) or activities,
- where a complainant is a person in the United States, and
- when the conduct that occurred fits the definition of sexual assault, dating/domestic violence, and stalking; quid pro quo harassment; and unwelcome conduct, determined by a reasonable person to be so severe, pervasive, and objectively offensive that it effectively denies a person equal access to the University’s program or activity.

Sexual Misconduct
- Sexual Misconduct applies to:
- Sexual or gender-based misconduct, including, but not limited to:
- incidents that occur outside of the University’s education program(s) or activities,
- where the respondent is a CCU student or employee, and
- when the conduct that fits the definition of sexual assault, dating/domestic violence, and stalking; or unwelcome conduct, determined by a reasonable person to be so severe, pervasive, or objectively offensive that it effectively denies a person equal access to the University’s program or activity, but occurs outside.
- Incidents falling outside of the jurisdiction of Title IX are considered Sexual Misconduct and follow the Code of Student Conduct and/or FAST-222 Disciplinary Action and Termination for Cause.
