Marketing and Hospitality, Resort, and Tourism Management
Welcome to the Department of Marketing and Hospitality, Resort, and Tourism Management in the Wall College of Business. We offer majors and minors in marketing and hospitality, resort, and tourism management, and online degree completion programs. Our marketing curriculum has a keen focus on identifying marketing opportunities and developing the appropriate marketing strategy responses to achieve success in the marketplace.
CCU also boasts an active chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA), an organization that prides itself on opportunities for marketers and academics to connect them with the people and resources they need to be successful. The resort tourism management major includes unique internship opportunities and a chance to work in an environment of a resort destination locale, such as the Myrtle Beach area. The HRTM major also has three concentrations for students to choose from: event planning, sustainable resort development, and tourism sales.
