The policies found on this website or on the 2003-2010 Coastal Carolina University Policies & Procedures Manual website are the official University policies. In the event of a discrepancy due to duplicate University policies, the most recently reviewed policies on the University Policies website will supersede any other University policy.
Units of the university may have policies and procedures specific to their operations that are not included on this website and are departmental policy rather than university policy. Intradepartmental policies and procedures must be approved by the appropriate vice president or designee (see PRES-100 Policy on Policies) and must not conflict with federal or state laws, rules of the university, or university policies and procedures.
In the event of an inconsistency between a provision in a college or departmental policy and a provision in a university policy, the university policy shall prevail.
