Justification For Request

What research has led to this request?

The course was created by the former director of Women's and Gender Studies specifically for the MALS program but has never been taught. We want to make the course accessible to all graduate students at CCU.

What impact will this request have on existing academic programs?

After checking with the current director of the MALS program, no impacts at all on any programs were identified besides the fact that more graduate students from varying programs will be able to take the class when offered.

What financial costs are associated with this request?

None.

If NO change in cost is anticipated, how is this possible?

The course will be taught on a faculty member's regular teaching load and does not require any special financial allocations.
