Explain We are removing all restrictions on the sharing of courses with other majors, minors, certificates, etc.. We have also corrected course titles to reflect the catalog per the Registrar's directive. All changes are highlighted in the catalog copy.

Justification For Request

What research has led to this request?

Discussed amongst PACS advisory faculty, voted on by the History Department, and (GEOG 121) approved by Sue Bergeron, Chair of Geography and Anthropology

What impact will this request have on existing academic programs?

-Allows students enrolled in the PACS minor to identify and take pertinent courses currently offered. -The inclusion of GEOG 121 also makes it easier for students who have taken GEOG 121 and/or have completed the CORE, to adopt the minor.

What financial costs are associated with this request?

-None. All of these courses are currently offered.

If NO change in cost is anticipated, how is this possible?

-The courses are taught within existing faculty course rotations. - - Being a small minor, we do not anticipate pushing numbers of students to GEOG 121. Rather, we hope to attract those who have already completed it.
